Hi!
We’re Chengze and Frederik, two high school students at Sevenoaks school in Kent, passionate about protecting nature.
November 2025, we swum 66 km to raise funds for Rainforest Trust and helped save endangered rainforests, biodiversity and wildlife.
We each started at 25 km, and every donation added distance (33 km per swimmer). We made live updates on our Instagram page so everyone could follow along.
Every donation and share made a difference – thank you!

Why not just do the full channel? We swum the same distance as the English Channel, all the way from Dover to France. It’s 33.8 km in a straight line. We swum for around 12 hours, or about 1,300 laps in a 25-meter pool. One lap at a time. Kinda crazy… but we really did it.
